Türk Makam Müziği Derleminin Dizayn Prensipleri Ve Kodlama Süreci

Abstract

Symbolic corpora are invaluable tool in computational music research. We built a symbolic corpus of Turkish makam music consisted of 600 pieces in 2011. Our aim was to collect a database of makam pieces in a simple format suitable for statistical analyses. There are 30 pieces in each of the twenty frequently used maqams (Acem Kürdi, Bayati, Evc, Hicaz, Hicazkar, Hisar Buselik, Hüseyni, Hüzzam, Isfahan, Karcığar, Kürdili Hicazkar, Mahur, Muhayyer, Nihavend, Nişaburek, Rast, Saba, Segah, Şehnaz, Uşşak). The pieces are selected from the six basic musical forms of the fasıl (the concert) structure (i.e. peşrev, beste, ağır semai, yürük semai, şarkı ve saz semai). Every note in a piece is manually annotated with a symbolic form representing its traditional pitch name, duration, and darb. The meta description includes the name of the piece, its composer, era, maqam, usul, form and the number of total measures.
