dc.description.abstract | The buckling analyses of AlSi10Mg Body-Centered Cubic lattice structures fabricated using selective laser melting were performed. The critical buckling loads and stresses for different relative densities of a lattice structure having 2x2x2 cells in x-, y- and z-direction were calculated using the analytical formulations taken from the literature and verified with the finite element analyses. The critical buckling loads were significantly affected by the relative density (strut diameter and unit cell size). A good match between analytical and numerical results was also shown for the performed buckling analysis. | en_US |
