Süpheli Kadin Ölümlerinde Annelerin Kayip ve Basa Çikma Deneyimleri

Abstract

Bu tez çalismasinin temel amaci; süpheli kadin ölümlerinde annelerin kayip sonrasi sürecindeki deneyimlerini ve basa çikma süreçlerini derinlemesine anlamaktir. Bu hedefe ulas¸mak ic¸in nitel bir c¸alis¸ma yu¨ru¨tu¨lmu¨s¸tu¨r. C¸alis¸ma o¨rneklemini süpheli bir sekilde hayatini kaybetmis kadinlarin annesi olan bes katilimci olusturmaktadir. Anneler ile yari-yapilandirilmis¸ go¨ru¨s¸meler gerc¸ekles¸tirilmis¸ ve elde edilen veriler fenomenolojik yaklasim temelinde c¸o¨zu¨mlenmis¸tir. Analizler sonucunda annelerin deneyimleri iki u¨st tema altinda toplanmis¸tir. Bunlar sirasiyla (1) kayip sonrasi deneyimler ve (2) kayip sonrasi basa çikma deneyimleridir. So¨z konusu temalar ilgili literatu¨r isiginda tartis¸ilmis¸tir.

In the present study, it is aimed to examine mothers' experiences and coping processes in the post-loss period in suspicious female deaths. A qualitative study was conducted to achieve this aim. The study sample consists of the mothers of five women who died suspiciously. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the mothers and the obtained data were analyzed on the basis of the phenomenological approach. As a result of the analyses, the experiences of the mothers were gathered under two main themes. These are (1) post-loss experiences and (2) post-loss coping experiences, respectively. These themes and the sub-themes they cover were discussed on the basis of relevant literature. Key Words: Suspicious Female Death, Post-Loss Experiences, Coping Process, Phenomenological Approach
