Biography
Hakkı Özgür Ünver is Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of TOBB Economics and Technology University, Ankara, Turkey. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 1993, 1996 and 2000, respectively. He also received the S.M. degree in Systems Engineering and Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2008.
After he served as principal engineer in Caliper Life Sciences and product strategy manager in Oracle Inc., U.S.A., he joined faculty of TOBB-ETU in 2010. His research interests are intelligent manufacturing, machining, chatter detection, AI applications, mechanical vibrations and structural health monitoring. He is the founder of Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory at TOBB-ETU and has jointly published more than 30 scientific papers.
