Biography

İlknur Dilekler Aldemir received her Bachelor s degree in psychology in 2010 and PhD degree in clinical psychology in 2018 at Middle East Technical University. Within the scope of her doctoral thesis, she aimed to understand intersubjective processes in psychotherapy practice by using qualitative research methods. She also published quantitative and qualitative research on health behaviors, subjective well-being, stress, emotion regulation, personality, and case and process-outcume studies in psychotherapy. During her doctorate education, in addition to her academic studies, she provided psychotherapy services for young adults and supervision education for psychotherapist candidates at Middle East Technical University and Bilkent University. She worked in the foundation of Psychological Support Center at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She still continues her academic studies as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Psychology and the Institute of Social Sciences, Clinical Psychology Department at the same university.
