Biography

Elif Oral is an Assistant Professor of International Law and Human Rights Law at TOBB University of Economics and Technology Law School. She graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University and completed her LLM on International and European Law at the University of Amsterdam. She continued her PhD studies at Galatasaray University and visited University of Amsterdam and Nyenrode Business University as a post-doc researcher. She worked as a part-time lecturer at Bilkent University. Her research focuses on international law, human rights law, business and human rights, sustainable development law, and corporate legal responsibilities for a circular economy. She is a member of the Platform of Public Law Scholars, the European Society of International Law, and Daughters of Themis: International Network of Female Business Scholars.
