Unique Education Model:
Since its establishment in 2010, the Department of Architecture at TOBB ETU has achieved many successes at national and international levels due to its exceptional education model. This unique education program is based on; the three semesters system in an academic year and the joint education system of TOBB ETU, and the four main course modules of the Department composed of Architectural Design, Building Technologies, Architectural Culture, History and Theories, and Architectural Presentation Techniques.

Joint Education System:
Depending on the three formal semester system in an academic year, the Department of Architecture offers its students professional work experience for three semesters at leading design and construction offices due to the joint education system. Thus, the students have the opportunity to find a job in these offices after graduation and start their professional life with a 1-year work experience as soon as they graduate.

Academic Achievements:
The Department's full-time and part-time academic staff are composed of academics and architects who are specialized in both academic and practical fields and are active profiles in the architectural environment in their professional fields. They participate in academic and professional activities such as national or international architectural competitions and EU research projects, national or international workshops, articles, books, seminars, invited speeches, jury memberships at architectural project competitions, and contribute to the academic and professional development of architecture.

Student Achievements:
Since 2012, the students have entered many architectural project competitions within the scope of Architectural Design Studio Courses. A total of 72 students won 38 awards at these national and international competitions.

Erasmus Mobility Programs:
The students can continue their education in over 15 distinguished partner architecture schools in Europe for one or two semesters through student mobility and one semester through traineeship mobility at their choice of an approved workplace in Europe during each of their degree programs through the existing bilateral agreements.
Double Major and Minor Opportunities: The students can graduate with an equivalent second diploma due to the University's double major and minor programs, available for every department except the medical school.

Post-graduation Job Opportunities:
The students can find a job immediately after graduation. With their strong portfolios due to the multi-faceted education they receive, active academics and architects as the faculty members, the unique education model, and the architectural competitions they participated during their education, and they are preferred by the design firms they worked before, or the offices/institutions they applied to.

Admission to Graduate Studies:
The graduates are accepted to study their master's and doctoral studies at distinguished national and international architecture schools. The education system and collaborations of the Department with European schools ensure the recognition of the academic success of its graduates. As a result, many of its graduates have completed or are in progress at their master's and doctoral studies in Europe and the USA.
